Community Races
The Crawford Company community races are designed to introduce the road racing crowd to Track and Field. Those familiar with the sport from high school and college will enjoy a chance to revisit the track. Test your speed on the oval in this event and learn about the excitement the track has to offer. The number of heats in this event will be determined by the number of participants registered. Heats will be assigned to group individuals based on similar ability levels. |
High School Races
The High School races will be sponsored by Dr. Abdul Foad, MD, shoulder, knee and sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. The boys and girls winners of the high school race will be presented with a $250 check to be given to their school's Track & Field Program. Any student enrolled in high school during the 2022-23 school year may compete in the High School races including graduating seniors. |
Elite Race
The Elite races will be one heat for each men and women and will be limited to the top 20 fastest entry times per gender. The Running Wild Elite Race Team will be presenting a cash prizes in the Elite Division. Individuals that do not qualify in the top 20 may compete in a competitive heat of the community race. Location & Parking
Due to construction at Pleasant Valley High School the location for the 2023 Belmont Mile will be on the Paul V. Olsen Track at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Parking is located on the south side of Lindberg Stadium. You can enter the parking lot from 7th Avenue by Centennial Hall. |
Spectators
Admission is free for all athletes and spectators. Complimentary food and drink will be provided for athletes.

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top 3 for each gender in each category. The boys and girls winners of the high school race will also be presented with a $250 check to be given to their school's Track & Field Program courtesy of our sponsor Dr. Abdul Foad. In the Elite races, the 1st and 2nd place male and female winners will also be presented with checks of $250 & $100 respectively.

The restrooms will be open on the east side of the stadium next to the bleachers by the home stretch.
