Community Races
The Crawford Company community races are designed to introduce the road racing crowd to Track and Field. Those familiar with the sport from high school and college will enjoy a chance to revisit the track. Test your speed on the oval in this event and learn about the excitement the track has to offer. The number of heats in this event will be determined by the number of participants registered. Heats will be assigned to group individuals based on similar ability levels. |
High School Races
The High School races will be sponsored by ORA Orthopedics. Any student enrolled in high school during the 2023-24 school year may compete in the High School races including graduating seniors. ORA will be presenting a check to the school of the boys and girls champions in the High School races in the amount of $250. Second place in the boys and girls high school race will receive an award in the amount of $125 from Dr. Abdul Foad. |
Elite Race
The Elite races will be one heat for each men and women and will be limited to the top 16 fastest entry times per gender. Prize money will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the amounts of $300, $200 & $100 for men's and women's. Our Sponsors include Bronze level Zimmerman Honda, Silver levels BankORION & Huiskamp Collins Investments, and Gold Level Eye Surgeons Associates. Location & Parking
Parking at Pleasant Valley High School can be found on the east and west parking Lots of campus. The west lot can be accessed from Belmont Road just west of the building. The east lot can also be accessed through the driveway on the east side of Belmont Road. Both parking lots will provide access to the track & field facilities. Due to construction a large part of the west parking lot is unavailable at this time on the West side but the Track is still accessible. |
Spectators
Admission is free for all athletes and spectators. Food will be available for purchase from Mexies Food Truck during the race.

Awards
"Extra Mile" awards will be given to the top 3 in each division for each gender. In the Elite Men's & Women's Races cash prizes will also be awarded in the amounts of $300, $200 & $100 to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. The High School Boys and Girls Races will award prizes to the school of the 1st & 2nd place finishers in the amounts of $250 and $125.
